 Context

The Ministry of the civil service and modernisation of the Administration intends to launch a project to develop and gradually implement a common charter for governmental websites. The aim is to harmonise government publications on the Internet through the creation and adherence to a “brand image” of the Kingdom.

Aim:

  • Development of a common charter for governmental websites in a set of stages: short-term stage, medium-term stage and long-term stage
  • Implement the short-term stage of this common charter on a pilot set of websites
  • Implement a regulatory framework defining the modes of using this charter on governmental website projects (to generalise the charter to all the governmental websites)

  • Initial scoping and elaboration of specifications
  • Launch of calls for tender / selection of provider
  • Preparation of terms of reference assisted by a consultancy firm to elaborate a draft decree aiming for the adoption of the common charter for websites by governmental bodies
  • Selection of consultancy firm

At maturity:

  • Development and approval of the common charter
  • Implementing the short-term stage of the charter on websites of the pilot group
  • Elaboration of the draft decree for the adoption of the common charter for websites by the governmental bodies
